BookRunes works well if you’re a voracious reader who gets through multiple books a week. It provides a most basic eBook newsletter experience: enter email, pick genres, receive daily deals. Simple! BookRunes dives into some of the more niche parts of Amazon so don’t expect to see any big bestsellers; but it’s still useful for adding something new to your library for cheap.
If you think you were born in the wrong decade, this one’s your gal. Timeless Fiction is dedicated to sharing the best in on-the-rise or undiscovered historical fiction. With each monthly newsletter, Timeless highlights a new release, current and upcoming eBook deals, and recommendations from other readers. BookBub is a major player in the eBook newsletter world, but absolutely worth the sign up. This service has a leg up on others because it gets to know every intimate detail of your reading habits. You like time travel romance specifically? Or maybe you’re more hooked on supernatural suspense? Are you the armchair detective of your family? Crime Classics is a newsletter with a focus on the golden oldies of detective fiction. If you’ve been known to get sucked into Agatha Christie every now and then, you’ll love expanding your crime fiction knowledge to her contemporaries. Every month, Crime Classics sends you the best deals, hand-picked recommendations, and interesting articles from around the internet to fan the flames of your crime-solving obsession.
Publisher’s Newsletters
This takes a bit more effort than just clicking on a provided link from us, but most publishers have newsletters you can sign up to that will alert you of scheduled promotions. (Hint, hint: ours is called Agora Addicts.) If you find yourself constantly purchasing titles from the same publishing house, consider making your love affair official by subscribing to its newsletter — it’ll never know if your wandering eyes lead you to other lists, too.
