How far would you go for your best friend?
Ellie and Bonny are as alike as they are different. One a brunette, the other a blonde; one generous, one spoilt; both are beautiful, talented, and ambitious.
The pair meet in bomb-ravaged London at the end of the war and become fast friends. Through struggling against the austerity of post-war Britain, the two girls pool their resources to make a living on the stage.
But between the glamour and cruelty of the theatre, can their friendship withstand the sacrifices they must each make?
