Liverpool, 1893. When tragedy strikes, 15-year-old Beth and her brother are left orphaned. With their lives shattered, Beth and her brother Sam leave their younger sister behind to make a new life for themselves in America.
So, Beth and Sam leave Liverpool aboard a steamer headed to New York. Beth’s musical skills garners interest and the new nickname ‘Gypsy’. But are these the type of people Beth and Sam need in their lives?
With her new cohort of friends, Beth heads across North America in search of gold, winding their way up to the mountains of Canada and the Klondike river.
But will the treasure and distance be enough to calm her restless spirit? Or will Beth be forever in search of home?
